Welcome to Comet U!
It’s officially back-to-school time. On Monday, August 5th, we hosted the third iteration of our onboarding program, Comet U, for new teaching staff. We are excited to welcome 25 new Comets to the district, we’re thrilled to have them join us as Comets and can’t wait for the great things ahead!
At North Polk, one of our Collective Commitments is creating a culture of caring, collaboration, and innovation. Comet U is all about empowering our new teachers to shine brightly from day one. Through meaningful collaboration with our current staff, insights into district initiatives, and a thorough understanding of our system, our teachers can start to become well-acquainted with the values that drive us at North Polk.
